Buddhism is a large part of culture and companionship in south- eastern Asian countries. In the western hemisphere, there argon simply not enough Buddhists to have a large blow on western society.A Buddhists ultimate goal is to reach their convey of nirvana. To reach this state, their life is guided by firm presets. Buddhists believe that their lives they be living now were shaped in a previous life. indeed Buddhists have to reach their bear Karma. In order to reach their own karma, a Buddhist must follow the noble eightfold path. These are right views, right aims, right speech, right conduct, right living, self-control, right- mindedness and right meditation. This backbone to the religion is one of the reasons many people cant follow it. One of the soundest principles for most Americans to follow would be self- control. The Buddhists meaning of self- control is meditation, yoga, rifle the body of sleep, have no contact with corrupted minds and control your diet. Considering that to the highest degree 2/3 of all Americans are overweight, this would be a hard principle to follow.Another principle Americans would have following is, right conduct. intimately people cant be pure in behavior. This doer no drinking or doing drugs, no looking at fully grown magazines etc. a lot of people in the united states pull up stakes also have trouble telling the truth all the time. Its hard to find a completely honest person now- a- days.The hardest principle for Americans to follow would be right meditation. Meditation requires willingness to suspend all thought, desires and attachments, and perch quiet. In meditation the material world that we live in is seen as a distraction that robs people of their
